Transformers run 24/7 for 20+ years. A 1% difference in load loss can cost more than the transformer itself over its lifetime. When comparing quotes, always compare the same loss level (A/B/C per IEC 60076):

Check 4: Lead time and delivery commitment
Custom transformers typically need 45–90 days from order confirmation. In Vietnam’s construction season, late delivery means penalty clauses for EPC contractors. Confirm:
- Production lead time in the quotation in writing
- Penalty terms for late delivery (e.g., 0.1% per day)
- Packing standard for sea freight (moisture-proof, export wooden case)
